DarkTune is my contribution to the tuning world, it’s not really a crew, it’s not a racing team, it’s my vision to change the way people view the import scene as a whole. I’m tired of the ricers, I’m tired of the JDM-whores, I’m tired of the street racing, and bad reputation that honest enthusiasts and drivers have gotten because of a large amount of idiots that decided to ruin it for everyone else.

As a foundation for my vision, I made one solitary function for myself and other members to follow…I’m sure you are familiar with the ever appearing line “PowerandElegancetoInspire.”

This simple line says everything I want and expect out of my members. I don’t care if someone’s crappy, primered up CRX runs 9’s in the quarter mile, I don’t care how many thousands of dollars someone spent on some exclusive rims that are difficult to find. I care about the overall presentation, a car that you can stare at and truly respect for the work put into making a car that excels in all aspects…rather than being just another speed demon or show stopper.

I want to build cars that are respectable in all aspects, something stylish and sexy, comfortable and luxurious, but has plenty of power when needed. I want to build cars that change the way people THINK about the everyday “modified” import vehicle, I am looking to change a lot of things.

DarkTune really can’t be described in words, it can be somewhat shown in pictures and video’s, but to REALLY understand and KNOW what DarkTune is about you just have to feel it. You have to have the passion and the desire to not want to be the same. To mod your car – not to be cool or fit in – but because you hate mostly everything about it and you want to love it for reasons others would not even be able to conceive. You need to have the desire to make people question your car. Not because of how obscure you can make it, or make it look like something else, or look like everyone else. DarkTune isn’t about trends, not about ANYTHING but wanting to perfect your vehicle, to display it as if it is one of a kind. Because DarkTune is one of a kind.
